The Insider Bat has always been, and continues to be, one of the hottest selling training aids available at SoftballTools.com.

Any player can develop muscle memory for the proper grip, hand placement, and swing path with the help from the Insider Bat. It's unique design allows for only one way to make contact with the ball… with your hands inside the ball. Endorsed by pros and coaches of both baseball and softball, the Insider Bat is used by players of all ages.

Learning to work with the Insider Bat is a simple two step process. First get the proper grip.  Second starting swinging.

It's grip shape encourages proper knuckle alignment. Plus the angle of the "barrel" relative to your grip encourages you to stay inside the ball.

You get instant feedback if you roll your hands over too soon, take too wide a swing path, or undercut the pitch.

This instant feedback you can see and feel speeds up your learning process.

The Insider Bat can be used with whiffle or sponge balls off a tee or in soft-toss drills during your hitting practice to…

  • Emphasizes palm up/palm down hand positioning before, during and after contact with the ball
  • Give instant feedback to the batter and coach
  • Train hitters not to roll wrists or sweep (cast) before or during contact with ball
  • Promote proper grip of bat
  • Emphasize "staying inside the ball" before and during contact
  • Promote proper hip rotation during swing
  • Use anywhere, anytime, indoors or outdoors
  • Force hands in front of bat head during swing
  • Promote tucking of back elbow into "slot"
  • Great for pre-game drills or "On deck" reinforcement tool
  • Excellent when used as one arm drills
  • Designed for the beginner as well as the seasoned pro

REMEMBER - Get 10% off any purchase made at SoftballTools.com between now and June 20th AND be automatically entered for a chance to win a Free Insider Bat!

This would be a great addition to our program. My husband and I coach the Kingman Sidewinders 12u travel team. This product would be great to help these young players really understand hitting

Would love to supply this as a donation from Softballperformance to the 12U travel team my daughter is on.

In addition I have purchased almost ever training aid imaginable to the girls and frankly most do nothing but drain your wallet. Hopefully I will get a change to test this batting aid out and finally find one that actually works as advertised.

Either way I will keep you posted if the DVD delivers as promised.

    Regards
    Coach Kurt

I have been coaching fastpitch softball for almost 10 years. I try to keep up to date with the latest training aids and the insider bat looks like one that I want to add to my repertoire. I have drawn marks on the side of softballs that I place on tees to try to get girls to hit inside the ball, but this simple bat seems like it would be much more effective.

I teach Fastpitch softball lessons both privately and groups up to 12.I use as many tools as I can to keep the girls interested and busy after the instructions. This NEW INSIDER BAT would be ideal because I use a lot of inside out, short to long technique with baseball size wiffle balls, tees and front toss.I use five stations and when I reteach  I have them all stand on third base line using their glove as a homeplate and their own bat  then we go through the steps together with me standing in the pitching circle instructing and doing the steps with them on command such as ready ,set, load explode.
