Monica Abbott and the Softball Cruise Clinic in the Bahamas

Earlier this morning, we  disembarked the MSC Poesia - the cruise ship that was our home for a week for the first ever Softball Cruise Clinic.

On the last full day of the cruise, we stopped in the Bahamas and held on-field clinic at a 4-field complex in Nassau.

In addition to the all the girls from the cruise,  local softball players from the Bahamas were invited to join us for the on-field clinic.

This gave the clinic a special local flavor. The Bahamian girls were integrated to our girls and broken down into smaller group for skills work on the various aspects of the game (pitching, hitting, fielding, and baserunning).

Of course, the local softball players were delighted to have a chance to interact with star pitcher Monica Abbott.

The local paper even published an article about the Softball Cruise Clinic being the Bahamas.
