Fastpitch Softball Drills - Glove In Armpit

Purpose: Softball hitting drill which lets batters practice keeping the back elbow down and in and the barrel up. The drill helps prevent sweeping the bat.

Procedure: The hitter places a glove under the lead arm and swings, keeping the glove there. The glove should not drop until the follow-through.
