Free Softball Drills – Split Grip

Instead of swinging with hands together hitters place their top hand at the top of the tape (bottom hand stays in its’ original position).  Working off a tee, hitters swing with this grip.  This particular grip forces the athlete to push through the ball which results in getting a complete finish.
