Fun Softball Drills – Kings Court

King, Queen, Jack and Ten are decided ahead of time, with the same location retaining the same card designation. The King has priority on all balls tossed. The 3 players not catching the ball organize themselves in a triangular form around the player receiving the ball to provide maximum coverage for a dropped or missed ball. The other players are allowed to catch the ball, but King always has priority (like a centerfielder). This is a great drill to improve on the fielding and  the softball catching aspects of the game.
