Softball Batting Drills – Diamond Demon

Purpose: To develop the fundamentals of softball hitting using the Wiffle ball machine.

Procedure: Set up a hitting area with a home plate about 30 feet away from the Diamond Demon pitching machine. This drill can be set up in a batting cage or even an outfield grassy area. A coach or player stands behind the machine with a bucket of Wiffle balls, ready to feed the machine. As the machine pitches, the hitter practices the fundamentals of hitting.
