Softball Hitting Drills – Shadow Drill

Purpose: A drill for softball hitting that lets players learn to keep the head still during the stride.

Procedure: The sun must be behind the player so that she can see her shadow. She places a ball on the shadow of her head. She takes her step and make sure that her head not move off the ball.
